Afghan Guest Tourist & Travel Agency is a Kabul-based tourism company serving all Provinces in Afghanistan. We are dedicated to showcasing the hidden beauty, culture and hospitality of Afghanistan. The company was created in February 2025. We provide unique travel experiences for foreign visitors while promoting safe, ethical and local tourism. As we grow our company, we are looking for passionate and creative individuals to join us as Business & Sales Interns.
Afghan Guest’s plan for 2026 is to sign up every single hotel within Afghanistan and become the biggest and best online platform for hotels and guest houses in Afghanistan. We want to create opportunities for young people and eventually, paid employment.
As a Sales Intern, you will support our marketing team and President by creating, managing, and promoting digital content to help attract international tourists and build brand awareness. You will share Afghan Guest’s services, photos and videos of Afghanistan and act on any ideas you have to attract foreign tourists. You will have a passion for converting enquiries into sales.
What will you learn?
- Content creation for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
- How business and commission work in a sales role.
- Using tools like TikTok, Facebook, Twitter (X) and Instagram.
- How tourism businesses operate behind the scenes, both in a local and international context.
Responsibilities:
- Sell and upsell Afghan Guest’s tour guide and hotel room listings.
- Advertise Afghan Guest’s tour guide services on social media, friends and family.
- Advertise Afghan Guest’s hotel room listings on social media, friends and family.
From time to time, we may also require you to promote Afghan Guest’s services by doing the following:
- Film videos around Afghanistan.
- Capture photos of Afghanistan’s tourist attractions, streets, hidden gems, natural landscapes, hiking places, caves etc.
- Contribute ideas to grow our online audience.
Requirements for this role:
- You must be based in Afghanistan in any Province!
- Basic computer skills and internet access.
- Interest in tourism, culture, or business & sales.
- Eagerness to learn.
- Good English writing and speaking skills.
- Pashto or Dari writing skills are a bonus.
- You must always represent Afghan Guest and the country of Afghanistan in a positive way, always following local guidance and local laws.
- You should be aware about general laws and cultural considerations around filming and photography.
